A true child of the '90s!

I've received this as an email from several people now, and it's really quite fun, but I wanted to refrain from filling up random inboxes with my unwanted nostalgic moments. So I've inflicted them on you lot instead!

Anybody under the age of 15 should not re-send this. Just because you were born in '91 or '92 doesn't mean you're a 90s kid. It's not like you could remember some of the original Simpsons.

(I've emboldened the ones that apply to me and suggest you do the same so we can share the shame - er, I mean nostalgia!)

You know you're a 90's kid if...

1.You can sing the rap to "The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air" - I'm ashamed already (and yes, I mean ALL of it!)

2.You've worn leggins and felt stylish.

3.You yearned to be part of the Baby-Sitters club.

4.You use to love playing with your MY Little Pet Shop.

5.You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons. Oh yeah - today's youth don't know what they're missing

6.You wore a ponytail on the side of your head and had scrunchies. - and my sister did do the ponytail thing - man, we were cool!

7.You remember reading "Goosebumps". - Think I only read it once cos it freaked me out, but I remember everyone else in the world loving them!

8.You know the profound meaning of "Wax on, wax off".

9.You have pondered why Smurfette was the only female smurf. - Well, why?!

10.You took plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school. :-)

11.You remember the craze then the banning of yo-yo's.

12.You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence - am very good at controlling it now!!

13.You knew that Kimberly, the pink ranger, and Tommy, the green Ranger were meant to be together. - SOOOOO true

14.You collected pokemon cards.

15.You wore socks over leggings scrunched down.

16.YOU wore leggings. - And looked COOL!

17.You knew what it meant to say "Care Bear Stare".

18.You knew all the characters names and their life stories on "Saved By The Bell". - such a good show

19.You played and or collected "Pogs". - I still have them :-D (but don't tell Dave, shhhh...)

20.You used to pretend to be a MIGHTY MORPHIN Power Ranger.

21.You had at least one GigaPet, Tamagotchi or Nano and brought it everywhere

22.You watched the ORIGINAL Care Bears, My Little Pony, and Ninja Turtles

23.Yikes pencils and rubbers were amazing

24.You remember when the new Beanie Babies were always sold out. - so much so that I never had one :-(

25.You used to wear those stick on earings, not only on your ears, but at the corners of your eyes.

26.You've gotten creeped out by "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"

27.You thought it would be so cool to be Alex Mack.

28.You know the Macarena by heart. - there are people out there who don't?

29."Talk to the hand" ... enough said.

30.You thought Brain from 'Pinkey and the Brain' would finally take over the world.

31.You were made to wear a pair of leggings with the straps on the bottom. - MADE, so the operative word in that sentence

32.You owned at least one Bum Bag - must have had 3 or 4, but they were mostly used for 10 tors training!

33.You collected tazos.

35.2 words ... SPICE GIRLS... - never owned an album though - phewf for small mercies after my pitiful show in this. I never knew I was such a child of my time!!

Wow, I did a lot more of them than you did! How hilarious though!! I got the email too but it had loads of different things on there! Like 'You remember Fruit Salads and Black Jacks' and 'Whenever people were running away they would shout LEG IIIT!'
Classic. I love being a 90s child. It's so cool that the 90s are now becoming a real 'era' just like the 60s, 70s, 80s etc were :)

I really enjoyed that list - I'm afraid I have to admit that I am guilty of impersonating a power ranger (with my sister I might add!) and remembering Yikes! stationary makes me smile and think of the time when I was little!! I know all about Fruit salads and black jacks (fruit salad all the way) - but who is alex mack?
Don't even get me started on the leggings with straps on under the foot - Why????

Man, how do none of you people know about Alex Mack? You seriously missed out! It was a channel 4 TV programme about this teenage girl who was caught in a nuclear accident and after that could kind of dissolve into a puddle (which looked like liquid mercury, but I only know that cos I'm a physics geek) and go through cracks under doors, listen in to peoples' conversations and escape from near death experiences. Quality entertainment!

And Jemma, the straps under foot thing - I totally agree!
